Year 4 Thursday 2nd July

Good morning everyone,

We hope you are all having a good week and still finding some motivation to complete the distance learning! 

Numeracy

Maths for this week is all about interpreting data in different forms.  Whichever level you choose to do, you will need to read the information section at the top of section A (bronze) before beginning the level you choose. There is a set of answers for each day so you can mark work yourselves too. 

Thursday- - solving problems with line graphs. All your instructions are on our google classroom.

 

Literacy

Carrying on with research information about Egypt for our own persuasive travel brochures. This will depend on what you intend to include in your brochure, e.g weather, food and drink, local attractions, popular resorts etc.  

If you think you have got enough information, then today is all about making a start on a front cover/introduction. 

 

Topic

There are lots of activities for you to do this week:

Humanities – map work and hieroglyphics 

Science / Tech – making an Egyptian reed boat and model Shaduf. 

Expressive Arts – Egyptian jewellery and drawing an Egyptian scarab beetle 

Health and Well Being – unusual sporting activities

Try and find time to practise weekly spellings, some reading and your Welsh work.
