Good morning Yr6 and welcome to another day of learning.
Your literacy and numeracy are scheduled to be live from 9am on google classroom.
Literacy will continue with looking at novels from the Hay Festival, with a choice of activities on the two texts by Konnie Huq and Emma Carroll. However, if you would prefer to do more activities based on yesterdays books that's fine. Also continue with your activities to persuade someone to read your favourite book. Remember to tell me what your book is so I can pair you with someone at the end of the week.
Numeracy is to continue with the Space investigation you started yesterday.
I hope you were able to join in the joy of moving yesterday and would love to see any pictures you may have taken. Today new topic work will be live from 9am on google classroom to complete in any order you would like. This includes making a paper rocket, drawing an alien and creating a menu for Tim Peake - I hope you enjoy the activities.
Remember your daily spelling journals , reading and times tables.
Also remember to take time to enjoy the sunshine in you garden or on your daily walk. Look at the changes around your local environment and marvel in beautiful it is.
