Year Six Welsh- Week Commencing 1st June

This week you are going to plan a stay at home party. 

All the resources are available via Google Classroom- please email me (peacockk2@hwbmail.net) if you are having any difficulties accessing them. 

Monday 1st June: Party preparations:

To plan and arrange a party by:· creating posters, invitations, a timetable, a shopping list a menu and instructions for games

· finding out what type of music the pupils want in the party and create a playlist including Welsh pop music

Bronze: listen to children talking and tick at least 3 correct opinions
Silver: listen to children talking and tick at least 6 correct opinions include the type of party it is and spell most of the words correctly
Gold: listen to children talking and tick all correct opinions include the type of party it is and spell the words correctly

Re-cap what ' Pa fath o barti rydych chi eisiau?'
Think about what needs doing to arrange the party: Rhaid trefnu parti. Beth sy' rhaid gwneud?
Have a look at examples real Welsh posters, invitations, game instructions, price list and menus

Tuesday 2nd June~To design a Poster / Gwahoddiad / Amserlen

Create posters, invitations and a timetable for the party. Try creating these using a graphics package, within Hwb

Wednesday 3rd June:Shopping List/  Rhestr siopa / Bwydlen

Create a shopping list (including prices to work out how much it is going to cost).
Create a menu of the food you have bought for the party. Possibility of creating a menu using a graphics package

Thursday 4th June: Party Games/ Gemau Parti

Cyfarwyddiadau gemau parti
Create a selection of party games with instructions. Prepare the games for the party

Friday 5th June: Music/ Miwsig

Discuss with your family the type of music they want in the party.
Once finalised pupils to create a playlist of most popular music on the computer.
Research Welsh pop music and include some of these in their selection of music for the part

Over the weekend- enjoy a little stay at home party!
