Year 4 Monday 6th July

Bore da everyone,

We hope you all had a good weekend and ready for another week of home learning and for some of you, attending your 'check in' sessions at school. 

Here is a summary of the tasks for today-

Numeracy- This week we will be looking at the relationship between fractions, decimals and percentages.  
Monday -your work will be set on My Maths. Remember to work through the lesson on My Maths before beginning the homework section.

Literacy- A new piece of work this week based on story writing- today is looking at a story called 'Time slip Scarab.' 

Welsh - We have attached a copy of the place mat on google classroom which we normally use in school.   Work your way around the place mat with someone at home, asking and answering the questions.

Topic- A new selection of activities this week-

Humanities- Egyptian Gods/Goddesses. 
Expressive Arts- Making Egyptian paper called papyrus and decorating it with hieroglyphics.
Science & Technology- canopic jars and mummification. 
Health & Well-being- resilience calendar and 'Walk like an Egyptian' dance. 
ICT- design and build a pyramid
 
All the details, resources and instructions for all these tasks are over on Google Classroom for you from 9am. 

Spellings- Your weekly spellings are below, try completing a spelling journal activity each day.
