L.O: To write a recount of the Easter Holidays


Use the past tense verbs you have learnt about this week and your vocabulary

The 5 senses: what did you see, hear, smell, taste and feel?

Bronze Level -  Use regular past tense verbs. Describe your Easter Day.

Silver Level – Use regular and irregular past tense verbs. Describe two days over Easter.

Gold Level – Use regular and irregular past tense verbs. Describe three days over Easter and include a little bit of speech.

L.O: To revise division of amounts

You can use your times tables to help you solve division problems as it is the opposite or inverse operation.

For example:

9 ÷ 3 = 3      Because: 3 lots of 3 make 9

Another way of solving the problem is to group by placing the amount, in this case 9, in to equal amounts. You could draw or make marks one at a time in 3 separate groups because we are dividing by 3 until each group as an equal amount such as:

We know we have 9 here altogether so we can count how much in each group. The answer of course being 3.
