Good Morning. I have posted this work on Google Classroom as well. Some activities will be easier to access on there. Once again thank you all for your support and well wishes. It has been fantastic seeing all your hard work and enthusiasm. I wish you a wonderful Easter. I hope you spend lots of valuable time together and get time to relax!
Bronze – all complete
Silver – additional challenge |
Gold – high challenge
Literacy: Ask your parents to test you on your HF spellings.
L.O: To write a set of instructions
I want you to imagine you are trying to help someone younger decorate an egg for Easter. Remember it needs to be hard boiled J
Here is an example of how to set out:
Friendship Bracelet
It's great to have friends. Show them you care by making them a friendship bracelet. This should take about 15 minutes
You will need:
- Long strip of coloured, bendy card
- Stickers, coloured pom poms, and anything else to decorate!
- Glue
Method:
| 1. Cut out a long, thin strip of card. |
| 2. Stick the ends of the card together with some glue. This will make the shape of your bracelet. |
| 3. Decorate with stickers, coloured pom poms, and anything else you would like to use. |
4. Give to a friend. |
Here is the SC you should use:
Bronze Level – Clear title, the equipment needed, imperative verbs and the correct order.
Silver Level – Clear title, the equipment needed, imperative verbs, time connectives and the correct order.
Gold level – Clear title, introduction, the equipment needed, imperative verbs, time connectives, technical words, drawings or pictures and the correct order.
Why don't you have a go at decorating an yourselves over Easter J
Numeracy:
Ask you parents to test you on your x4 & x8 tables.
Then go on to Big Maths to carry out your Big Maths Challenges
Art: Using any media including ICT create a poster to celebrate the work of NHS staff alongside the coming of Spring. You could include the rainbows that the nation is adopting with flowers, sunshine even Easter related things.
Put them up in your windows. I'd love to see the pictures/photos.
Daily Welsh: To learn the days of the week
Write sentences using days of the week
Bronze Level – Start with Mae hi'n Dydd….
Silver Level – Start with Dwi'n hapus or another feeling because its (mae hi'n) Dydd…..
Gold – Also add what you down those days
e.g. Dwi'n chwarae pel droed ar Dydd Sadwrn
I have also included some fun activities for you to carry out over the holidays if you so wish:
- Carry out a tally of types of birds you see in the garden or out on a walk
- What wildflowers can you find?
