Good Morning.

Here are the activity levels for your work as a reminder:



Bronze – all complete

Silver – additional challenge

Gold – high challenge

Big Write

L.O: To write a story

Using yesterday's lists of vocabulary to help you, use your neatest handwriting to write your story about the meerkats and the vulture.

Plan to retell the story from the beginning of the video to the end.

Success Criteria: 1) Use first person ( Start sentences in different ways not just I) 2) Past tense 3) Adjectives 4) Verbs and adverbs (e.g ran quickly – verb ran, adverb quickly) and paragraphs.

Gold Level –

Success Criteria: 1) Use first person ( Start sentences in different ways not just I) 2) Past tense 3) Adjectives 4) Verbs and adverbs (e.g ran quickly – verb ran, adverb quickly), paragraphs and include some speech.

 

Numeracy

Use the TT Blast app on Hwb to refine your times tables skills


Use your Big Maths logins to carry out your CLIC and Learn Its challenges. I have received an email from Big Maths saying they are looking at extending the times of the Learn Its. That's good news as it's not always the child's recall but keyboard speed skills.

 

ICT

Using the internet can be fun and educational but we must also be very careful what we share and who we talk to. Below is a useful website game to help you understand how to be safe. It has lots of tips.

Then scroll down to Safer Internet Day 2020 and click

Click on Quiz, scroll down and Start quiz

Now create a poster about keeping safe when using technology such as the internet and mobile phones.
