Year 6 Tuesday 31.3.20

Good morning Year 6

Again thank you for all the work you are doing at home, it's lovely to see all your hard work and how engaged you are in your learning.  I'm very impressed with your ICT skills with the uploading of pictures, emailing and collaborating online.  Keep it up!  If you are not using the Google Classroom and completing work in your book then that's great too.

Google Classroom is ready again for you at 9am this morning.  i need to apologise as I scheduled the literacy incorrectly yesterday - sorry.  I explained in the blog that you were going to design a new Easter product, however I scheduled the Read Theory instead, so today the Easter product sheets will be come available for you to use.  If you completed this yesterday - great you can complete the Read Theory.  if you completed the Read Theory then you can complete the Easter product.  I hope this makes sense.

Here is a brief outline of today's activities, there is a more detailed explanation in each activity on Google Classroom.
Literacy - To design a new Easter Product or Read Theory activity. (If you need your password please email me)
Numeracy - to solve word problems using 24hr clock.
Topic - to understand the Water Cycle.

Remember to ensure you have time in the fresh air and enjoy being outside in your garden.  Why not take 15 minutes to sit still or lie on a blanket in your garden and close your eyes.  Listen carefully to the sounds you can hear. Use the breathing techniques you have been taught in yoga.  Enjoy being calm and peaceful - this works well in school.

I'm looking forward to seeing your learning again today - also I would love to see or hear about any other activities you are doing whilst at home.  Take care all and remember you are all amazing.

Mrs Cotton.
