Literacy - write a newspaper report
Numeracy - Big Maths challenges
WWII maths activities for fun
Topic - making a peg plane, designing a commemorative mug, designing and making bunting and using your knowledge of forces for science.
As it is a bank holiday tomorrow there won't be a post in the morning. (That is why I have included Big Maths today). However there will be a link on Google Classroom which will take you to a page giving you ideas for VE Day. If you are having a stay at home party/picnic then I would love to see your pictures. If you can't send me a picture then maybe take a photo for your book - it's a very special day. Remember to hang your bunting and invitation.
Try and remember to complete your 15 minute daily activities of reading, spelling journals and times tables. After speaking with you I know many of you are really focussing on learning your tables so keep it up. You could use TT Blast or Hit the button if you have access to a laptop.
