Year Six Welsh. W/Commencing 4th May 2020

Monday- Today you are going to show us how much you can remember to say and ask in Welsh. Use the attached placemat and vocabulary prompt sheet. Challenge yourself to use the placemat as a prompt only. When you feel confident, have a go at presenting your description of yourself to someone in your home or recording it, for us to see! Pob Luc!

Tuesday- Have a go at reading aloud Ffion's profile
Complete one of the differentiated reading tasks based on Ffion's profile

Wednesday- Today we are going to use our knowledge from our oracy and reading tasks earlier in the week to help write about ourselves. As the year goes on we should become more confident in writing about ourselves and using the placemat less. Have a go, see if you can challenge yourself to add additional detail compared to the writing you did in the Spring Term. Try to include key words and phrases that we have used earlier in the year and add some interesting extra information- pob luc!
I have attached some exemplar models to help you if you are struggling!
I've also attached the answers to the reading task yesterday for you to check how you got on! All attachments can be found via Google Classroom- pop me an email if you have difficulty accessing them.

Thursday-  Evaluate your writing from yesterday using the differentiated Pupil Evaluation Sheets (attached) as success criteria. Self-evaluate against the success criteria and redraft.

Independent Reading opportunity. Read Proffil Reading Card for pleasure!

Friday- today is VE Day so no Welsh today, we look forward to seeing your work and pictures of your Stay at Home VE DAY Celebrations!

Well done for all the work you are continuing to do, we are so impressed!
