Friday, April 2nd 2020

Good Morning. I have posted this work on Google Classroom as well. Some activities will be easier to access on there. Once again thank you all for your support and well wishes. It has been fantastic seeing all your hard work and enthusiasm. I wish you a wonderful Easter. I hope you spend lots of valuable time together and get time to relax!

 Bronze – all complete

Silver – additional challenge

Gold – high challenge

Literacy: Ask your parents to test you on your HF spellings.

L.O: To write a set of instructions

I want you to imagine you are trying to help someone younger decorate an egg for Easter. Remember it needs to be hard boiled J

Here is an example of how to set out:

Friendship Bracelet

Friendship braceletIt's great to have friends. Show them you care by making them a friendship bracelet. This should take about 15 minutes

You will need:

  • Long strip of coloured, bendy card
  • Stickers, coloured pom poms, and anything else to decorate!
  • Glue

Method:

Strips of card and decorations

1.    Cut out a long, thin strip of card.

Bracelet shape

2.  Stick the ends of the card together with some glue. This will make the shape of your bracelet.

Ask you parents to test you on your x4 & x8 tables.

Then go on to Big Maths to carry out your Big Maths Challenges

Art: Using any media including ICT create a poster to celebrate the work of NHS staff alongside the coming of Spring. You could include the rainbows that the nation is adopting with flowers, sunshine even Easter related things.

Put them up in your windows. I'd love to see the pictures/photos.

Hink Pinks are clues to a silly two word answer that rhymes. For example, "meat stealer" is "beef thief", and "complimentary oal" is "free tree". How many Hink Pinks can you solve?
