Good morning Year 6
Another Monday morning learning at home. I'm so proud of you all and how you have embraced this new, temporary way of learning. Keep sending me your learning, I really enjoy seeing what you are doing. I also hope you were able to enjoy the sunshine in your garden this weekend.
Today's learning will be available from 9 am on Google Classroom.
Literacy - read theory activities / spellings - new spellings and test on last week's words.
Numeracy - solve problems with percentage increase and decrease
There are also five new topic activities for the week available from 9 am There is also a separate blog detailing these for yes 4,5 and 6.
This week you have a health and well-being task to train like an astronaut, humanities is to plan a journey to the moon, scratch coding for Science and Technology and space art by Peter Thorpe. These are all on google classroom from today so you can choose when you complete these activities. Try and complete at least 1 a day if possible throughout the week.
Remember to try and include 10 to 15 minutes of reading, times tables and spelling journal activities during the day.
